Visiting this website

This website is hosted on AWS Lightsail in Frankfurt, Germany. The server processes connection information, including your IP address, to deliver pages. Technical logs may include your IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and errors.

This processing supports website delivery, security and troubleshooting, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical records are needed only for those purposes; their actual deletion schedule is still being checked.

Email and telephone enquiries

If you contact us, we use the contact details and information you provide to answer your enquiry and discuss our services. Email is handled through Zoho Mail's EU account region (zoho.eu), without forwarding to another mailbox.

Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on steps towards a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Legally required record-keeping is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Our selected policy for inactive enquiries that do not become projects is six months after the last correspondence. This review and deletion process is being introduced; it is not yet implemented. Contractual records, tax-relevant documents and records needed for legal claims are handled separately according to their purpose and applicable retention requirements.

No cookies or tracking

This website application does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or browser storage. No cookie consent banner is used. Images, scripts, icons and fonts are hosted with the website.

The guest-service forms are local demonstrations: submitting them changes the page in your browser and does not send a request or the entered information to us or a hotel. Please do not enter real guest or sensitive information.

Service providers

AWS provides website hosting and Zoho provides email services. They process information needed to provide those services. EU hosting does not necessarily mean all provider support or processing takes place exclusively in the EU. Any transfers outside the EEA require an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. If consent is used, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority. The website demo makes no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

This notice covers the public Valendos website. Deployed hotel systems require their own privacy information.
